Digitalisation of the Agricultural advisory service - The digital transition in agriculture, food and forestry

The objective of the investment is to establish working methods that allow greater use of digital technologies.

Digitalisation will unburden agricultural advisers in administrative work and link them more closely with farmers.

The project will build a platform containing modern digital tools for the provision of farm advisory services, supported by data from existing and new databases of the future data centre. It is planned to invest extensively in upgrading the equipment and skills of agricultural consultants in the field of digitalisation. This will create the conditions for a comprehensive digital transformation of farm advisory.

The platform will be well tested, safe and easy to use. This will be achieved through cooperation between knowledge transfer experts and new technologies developing the platform and test users. The realisation of those objectives will be demonstrated through expert analysis on a sample of users.

The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 1.4 million, while the total value of the investment is EUR 1.7 million. The project started in January 2022 and will be finalised by June 2026.
