Cycle path, Bílý Újezd

The subject of the action was the construction of a cycle path connecting the villages  Ještětice - Bílý Újezd - Podbřezí.

The cycle path reflects the requirements for extension, continuity and interconnection of cycle paths and cycle routes of supra-regional and local importance.

The main objective is to connect and  cover the Podbřezí municipality by a system of safe and attractive routes, passable in all weather conditions, which will provide cyclists with passage through the area with minimal contact with motorised traffic on the I/14 road.

One of the main principles for ensuring the safety of the cycle route is, above all, its separation from busy car traffic.

The cycle path is designed in a basic road width of 2.50 m with a bituminous cover, only on some sections it is between 3 and 3.25 m wide.

The length of the cycle path is 3 415 m.
