The Recovery and Resilience Facility will provide EUR 180 million to create 4,500 new créche places in Hungary.
The crèche can welcome 28 children in two day-care rooms. The project also included the construction of the necessary equipment and service facilities for the provision of the specialised day-care services (e.g. kitchen, laundry, storage for cleaning equipment, office, changing rooms, water block, storage for prams and bicycles).
The modern building is environmentally friendly, economically sustainable with excellent thermal characteristics, including the use of heat pumps and solar panels. It also has a condensing gas boiler as a back-up heating system. Complex accessibility measures were implemented during construction.
The new facility will not only help families with young children but will also create jobs for teachers and technical staff. The new créche is in operation.
