The project aims to create a day créche with 2 groups of 28 places in an energy-efficient building with 250 m2 of floor space.
The créche will have a low environmental impact in terms of energy efficiency and will be built with an innovative concept (e.g. renewable energy, environmentally friendly technical solutions) that will create a modern and environmentally friendly environment for the children of créche age in a sustainable way in the long term.
This will lead to the construction of new energy-efficient buildings, with the primary energy demand (PED) of the proposed building being at least 20% lower than the near-zero energy requirement.
A playground with courtyard games and associated landscaping, planted with native plant species, has been created to improve the microclimate of the area. The planting of bird-friendly plant species promotes biodiversity and is thus linked to environmental education, which also helps to educate young children.
