The objective of this investment is to improve the school environment for pupils with severe disabilities or other special educational needs and to maximise their academic and social development with the replacement-construction of the two Special Schools in the Limassol district.
These schools were built during the period 1979-1984, prior to the approval of the legislation for anti-seismic upgrading of 1994 and were not fully accesible to all students as they were built at different levels.
The construction of both the Special Education School A' - Apostolou Louka and of the Special Education School B' - Panagias Glykiotissas was completed in March 2026.
