Plan for the extension of full-time (Mission 4, Component 1, Investment 1.2)
Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan provides for the extension of school time, in order to increase the educational offer of schools and make them open and available to the territory beyond school hours.
The measure envisages the construction or renovation of canteen spaces for at least 1 000 structures to allow for the extension of school time.
Extended schooling hours are expected to have a positive impact on the fight against early school leaving.
The investment is financed by Italy’s Recovery and Resilience plan by EUR 1 billion.
The project "Construction of a school canteen at the service of the schools of Falerna Scalo: kindergarten, primary school and secondary school of first degree" is part of this investment.
The project involves the construction of a school canteen that will rise in the lot currently used as a public park, so to implement the services available to school headteachers present.
This therefore represents an improvement in the school life of users from both a food and physical point of view.
