Community Support Teams in Palliative Care

Community Support Teams in Palliative Care are multidisciplinary teams, which include doctors, nurses, psychologists and social workers.

They promote the well-being and quality of life of patients and their families/caregivers, preventing and/or minimising their suffering and providing the necessary support throughout the patient's life and, in the mourning phase, through humanised care.
