Community house in Staňkov for children from a children’s home

Six children from the Children’s Home Staňkov are now living in a new community house. They can thus live in an environment similar to that of a typical family. The new community house builds on the first successful transformation carried out in 2023, when one family group was moved to a family house in Staňkov. After two years of operating the house, the children’s home has had only positive experiences, both from the perspective of the children and the staff. Among other things, there has been a strengthening of bonds within the family group, a reduction in the stigmatization of children associated with institutional care, and an improvement in the children’s integration into mainstream society.
