The project is being supported from the programme "Climate-Adapted Buildings for Vulnerable Individuals", which is fully funded from the Austrian RRP. It concerns a building run by Caritas, and offers housing for homeless young adults aged 18-27.
The building, dating from 1971, was transformed and now offers 51 short- to long-term places for young homeless adults in 42 living units. The ground floor includes common work-spaces for project-based work and to enhance connectivity with the public and local community. It has undergone comprehensive energy renovation, enabling annual CO2 savings of 42 tons. Also façade greening was added.
