The programme supports the thermal renovation of buildings used by social non-profit organisations that primarily accommodate low-income and vulnerable individuals at risk of poverty. Since these organisations rely mainly on donations, the buildings are usually in poor condition and energy costs are therefore particularly high.
It supports measures for the thermal refurbishment of buildings that are over 15 years old. It comprises thermal insulation of walls and roof, replacement of windows and heating system as well as planning support. A minimum 30% reduction in primary energy consumption needs to be achieved.
