Chronic inflammatory bowel disease is one of the chronic inflammatory diseases in which imbalances occur in the regulation of inflammatory processes.
Nowadays, patients with more severe forms of the disease are regularly treated with various biological drugs, which greatly improve the clinical picture in many patients, while in others the response is poor or weakens over time.
This project uses the most advanced methods of multi-omics analysis with the aim of improving the prediction of response to treatment with the biological drug adalimumab, which could contribute to better treatment outcomes for patients and more rational use of health insurance funds in the future.
