With close to EUR 99 million, the Recovery and Resilience Facility supports a grant scheme for the provision of infrastructure in industrial parks.
BGN 9.7 million from the Recovery and Resilience Plan will support the development of Industrial Park Rozhen 41, attracting new investors and creating new jobs and increasing export capacity by improving the upstream and domestic infrastructure for investors in the industrial park.
Within the framework of the project, the following activities will be carried out:
- Construction of internal transport infrastructure;
-Expansion of site water supply networks;
- Extension of electricity distribution network;
- The construction of 3 charging stations for electric vehicles, which will use photovoltaic energy, is also planned within the project;
- Further development of the gas transmission network to serve the adjacent new buildings within the boundaries of the park
- Supplying infrastructure for gas transmission network. Within the framework of the project, the construction of a gas transmission infrastructure to the borders of the park is planned, in the part that is to be built with new production, administrative and logistics areas. The incoming gas transmission network will be executed by the project partner Overgas AD.
As a result of the implementation of the planned activities:
- conditions for current investors will be improved and new investors will be attracted;
- new jobs will be created;
- competitiveness will increase and support the development of existing users and new business activities will be sought in the region.
The project is expected to be completed by 30 June 2026.
