The objective of the project was to conserve water. At the end of the project, this enables improved operation of the Kranjska Gora water system and a more reliable supply of drinking water.
The new water storage facility has a capacity of 600 m³ and allows for lower average primary energy consumption in the Kranjska Gora water supply system (0.4554 kWh/m³ of water sold or 0.3103 kWh/m³ of water abstracted).
The Recovery and Resilience Facility provided funding of EUR 440,503, while the total value of the investment was EUR 881,008. The project started in 2022 and was finalised in 2023.
