The objective of this investment is to generate green energy through renewable sources. Malta's small size limits the possibility of onshore energy generation.
But given the importance of solar power on the island, different options have been explored that go beyond the traditional roof-top investment.
Funded through the RRP C1-I5 Renewable Energy Investments in Roads and Public Spaces, part of the EU’s NextGenerationEU Recovery and Resilience Plan, this €850,000 investment demonstrates what can be achieved when innovation, renewable energy and sustainable transport work together.
